WRN Conference 2026: Connect, Inspire, Transform

WRN Conference 2026: Connect, Inspire, Transform

On 10 May 2026 Trinamul Unnayan Sangstha (TUS), in collaboration with GRAUS and Ashika Development Associates, organized the Women Resource Network (WRN) Conference–2026 in Cox's Bazar under the slogan “Connect, Inspire, Transform” through the Nagorikata:

Civic Engagement Fund (CEF) initiative.

The conference served as a meaningful platform for reflection, learning, and collective action, bringing together members of the Women Resource Network from different regions to strengthen solidarity, collaboration, and a shared commitment to women’s empowerment and social justice.

The event focused on reviewing the journey, achievements, and contributions of the WRN network over the years while creating opportunities for participants to share their experiences, challenges, successes, and lessons learned from grassroots interventions.

Through interactive discussions and participatory sessions, participants worked together to identify practical and strategic action plans by incorporating past learning and field experiences to ensure more impactful future initiatives.

Special emphasis was placed on discussing the current situation of violence against women in the Chittagong Hill Tracts, highlighting the challenges faced by women and girls and exploring necessary collective actions, advocacy strategies, and community-based responses to address these issues effectively.

The conference successfully created an inspiring environment where WRN members connected, exchanged ideas, strengthened partnerships, and developed a shared vision for future collaboration. It reaffirmed the network’s commitment to promoting women’s rights, civic engagement, leadership, and inclusive community transformation across the region.
