
Khagrachhari, 1 October 2026: A PRLC learning-sharing workshop and district coordination meeting at Parjatan Motel brought together stakeholders to review progress and strengthen cooperation for resilient livelihoods in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
Trinamul Unnayan Sangstha (TUS) and ALO organized the meeting with European Union funding and support from Manusher Jonno Foundation. Discussions addressed project achievements and future activities.
Chief guest Md. Ilias Mehedi, Chief Executive Officer of Khagrachhari Hill District Council, emphasized maximizing benefits for disadvantaged households and improving coordination across agriculture, livelihood development and social protection.
TUS Executive Director Ripan Chakma reported that the project includes 4,618 households in Laxmichari and Guimara. Its activities cover agriculture and livelihoods, nutrition, social protection and disaster risk reduction.
