About the network
Durbar Network is a national grassroots women’s rights network in Bangladesh associated with long-running collaboration among women’s organizations and Naripokkho. Historical reporting documents the network at national scale: a 2008 national conference organized by Naripokkho and Durbar Network brought together around 700 representatives from approximately 550 organizations. More recent Naripokkho reporting documents collaboration with Durbar Network on preventing child marriage, sexual harassment and domestic violence and on supporting women survivors to access services. TUS’s own organizational resources record involvement in Durbar Network in 2021, and the TUS Annual Report 2023 again identifies Durbar among TUS’s active networks and campaign programmes.
