Campaign for Sustainable Rural Livelihoods
CSRL is a Bangladesh-wide alliance formed in 2007 to influence policy, practice and public action around sustainable rural livelihoods, agriculture, climate change, trade and, more recently, renewable energy and a just energy transition.
About the network
The Campaign for Sustainable Rural Livelihoods (CSRL) is a national alliance of more than 200 local, national and international development and civil-society organizations. According to CSRL’s official website, the alliance was formed in September 2007 following consultations involving women, farmers, labourers, underprivileged communities and NGOs from grassroots to national level. CSRL works to influence policy, practice and behaviour around agriculture, climate change and energy while protecting sustainable rural livelihoods. TUS records CSRL in its own organizational profile as a network affiliation. Because the current public CSRL website does not expose a complete member directory naming TUS, the TUS relationship is presented here as an organization-recorded affiliation rather than an independently verified current CSRL membership.
