Partnership for Resilient Livelihoods in CHT Region (PRLC)

TUS implemented the Partnership for Resilient Livelihood in CHT Region (PRLC) project supported by the Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) and funded by the European Union (EU) from 01 September 2023 to 30 October 2026, covering three unions in Laxmichari Upazila.
Key project activities included village profiling (mapping and baseline surveys), establishment of Farmers Field Schools (FFS), promotion of agricultural practices and high-value crop production (Papaya, Malta, Lemon), and livestock development through Community Livestock Workers focusing on goat and pigeon rearing. The project also focused on entrepreneurship development for women farmers (beekeeping, mushroom cultivation), nutrition governance through awareness sessions and nutrition fairs, water supply system installation, market linkage development, youth empowerment, disaster preparedness training, and access to social security services. The initiative aimed to build resilient and sustainable livelihoods for extremely poor and vulnerable households in the CHT.
