Trinamul Unnayan Sangstha (TUS), a Non-Government organization works with grassroots level to improve the well-being of poor and marginalized communities.
The Chittagong Hill Tracts located in the southest of Bangladesh, comprise the three Hill districts, Bandarban, Khagrachari, and Rangamati. The region is home to 13 tribal groups (ethnic minorities or Adhivasi) in addition to Bengali, & has a population of nearly a million. USAID funded ten years of Chittagong Hill Tracts Watershed Co-Management Activity implemented by UNDP Under Strengthening Inclusive Development in CHT. Its aim to integrated ecosystem management of forests (headwater Reserved forests, Protected Areas, and Village Common Forests/Mouza reserves) & their associated watersheds in partnerships with key stakeholders including local people.
